Our Center

On June 30, 2010, A Place for Women opened its doors in the Waipio Shopping Center.

We offer women of all ages a safe and supportive environment where they can seek information on matters surrounding pregnancy and other women's issues.

The center exists to provide women with a line-up of support services such as free onsite pregnancy testing, limited obstetric ultrasounds, pregnancy options counseling, adoption referrals, post-abortive recovery classes and more.

Services are provided free of charge and by appointment. All medical services are provided by medical professionals under the supervision of our Medical Director, Dr. Vivien Wong, MD.

What we offer is a place for women to rest their hearts. When women arrive at the center dealing with a possible unexpected pregnancy, they can be so afraid. They don’t need judgment— just compassion and truth.
