What to Expect

Our mobile medical unit was designed with our patient's needs in mind. It is equipped with a private restroom, counseling area, and a private medical exam room. The medical exam room is in the back of the unit and can be closed off to provide complete privacy.

Throughout your visit, you will be treated with dignity and respect. All services are provided FREE and we will respect your privacy by adhering to all HIPAA laws. You should expect your appointment to take an hour depending on services provided.

An appointment may be as follows:

Step 1: A trained member of the mobile team will greet you. They will collect some basic information from you required for medical services.

Step 2: A urine based pregnancy test will be administered.

Step 3: After your pregnancy test, you will receive an options consultation with our trained staff. The consultant will provide you evidenced-based education on all of your options to empower you to make the best health decision for yourself and your family.

Step 4: If your pregnancy test is positive, a licensed medical provider will review your medical history with you and determine if you are eligible for a limited-obstetric ultrasound. If eligible, she will perform an ultrasound to confirm the pregnancy and to determine how far along you are. For more information on the kind of ultrasounds performed on the mobile, click here.

Step 5: You will receive a discharge plan with any recommendations for follow-up care.
